The voluntary nature of the Monarch Community requires that staff and residents assess safety and readiness to handle the rigors and responsibilities of treatment. An initial consultation with the Executive Clinical Director allows all parties involved to decide if Monarch is a good fit for the potential resident. A final in-person consultation and tour of the facility allow the future resident and family to make an informed decision.
All new residents are admitted to our highest level of care: the Residential Treatment Program with 24-hour staff supervision. Residents remain in this program until the resident and clinical team conclude that the individual is ready to step down to the Therapeutic Community Program.
During the first weeks, the treatment team will work with the resident to craft a treatment plan that guides and informs the individual treatment needs and goals of the resident. Treatment plans focus on reducing symptoms, increasing functional capacities, and building/maintaining a fruitful alliance among residents, families, and staff.
Monarch is a private pay organization and does not accept insurance at this time. However, as a non-profit organization we are very cognizant of the high cost of providing effective mental health care, and it is our explicit goal to provide the highest level of service to clients and families at the most reasonable cost possible.
