One philanthropic option that benefits the donor as well as the recipient is a gift of appreciated stock or securities. Should you choose to exercise this option, you may pay no capital gains upon transfer of the asset to The Monarch Community, Inc.; and you may also receive a tax deduction for the full market value of the donation.
